the plantation was owned by one of the member of larrazabal family who lived at ormoc city leyte. this plantation was started on 2012,, before it was become a pineapple plantation, it was a sugarcane plantation but the management was not so good and also the topographic feature is not the ideal site of sugarcane so therefor it was stopped. the plantation of pineapple took a large area,, the management was so good and it generates a high return on capital and investment of the owner,, this was growing so fast and becomes one of the good producers of pineapple in leyte area. queen pineapple is the main breed planted in the area since it has a good quality, very sweet and crunchy when eaten, available and very affordable at a lower price.
