This historic cemetery dating to the 1780s is directly south and east of the Demarest-Behnke House and contains the graves (an estimated 65) of descendants of early settlers in this area. These include at least two local farmer-militiamen of the American Revolution, Jacobus Brouwer and Henry Banta, as well as Cornelius Demarest, who served in the 22nd New Jersey Regiment of the Union Army during the Civil War. The cemetery is first found on the 1902 Robinson map.
