This factory was built in 1896 and was just demolished last year in November to make way for a new Bergen County Sheriffs building. On October 30, 2008 a huge crack formed in the side of the buildng towards the front so they had to start demolishing. The whole site was cleared by May 2009. Most of the time before the demolition asbestos had to be removed and the building had to be gutted out. The site is still empty today and looks like the building was never there.
