This school on 8th Street serves Cannelton as a public primary school for grades K-2. It is part of Cannelton Elementary School, with Myers building serving grades 3-6. It is a brick building with four main classrooms, a basement with cafeteria and restrooms, and
an auditorium in the upper level. It has always been considered a part of Cannelton Schools, but was officially named that in the early 1960's. St. Michael's Catholic church is just down the street from the School.
