The Summerview 1 wind farms is located east of the Oldman River Dam, about 15-20 km northeast of Pincher Creek and 65 km west of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. It is directly west of the later Summerview 2 wind farm. Commissioned in 2002 (1 turbine, possibly the one adjacent to the electrical substation) and 2004 (38 turbines), it consists of a total of 39 Vestas V80/1800 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 70.2 MW.
