Historic church designed c. 1867 by Edwin F. Durang in the Romanesque Revival style and constructed by James Doyle. A small grotto chapel designed by Henry Dagit with structural elements by Guastavino Fireproof Tile Co. was added in 1911. In 1975, the sanctuary was altered to give a more modern feel with new pews and central light fixture.
