The original 1/2 mile oval was first used on July 13th, 1946, and is known to have operated from 1968-1970, in 1973, and from July 11th, 1992 through 1998. The 3/8 mile oval opened in 2000, and ran on special occasions (primarily Sundays) until 2006. The classes that ran during special occasions included the NOPA Street Stocks, NOPA Pure Stocks, NOPA/WISSOTA Super Stocks, and NOPA/WISSOTA Modifieds. The NOPA Super Trucks would run at times as well. Today, the former Marshall County Speedway is used for Baja Racing and demolition derbies.
