If you look on Google maps and zoom into the 45 degree you can more clearly see the remnants of the foundation for the Northern Pacific roundhouse. This was the outer part of the turntable, you can also see inner part of the turntable where it rotated. You can also see the outer walls and were the engine stalls were, like spokes on a wheel.
Built in the late 1800s, the the last part roundhouse facility was torn down January 9, 1975.
