One has to reach Kuktoli Village, 10 kms from from Dandoba Dongar situated on Miraj-Jath road. Outside the village, towards south one can see a large plateau. Start the trek towards "Giriling" Mandir which is situated at the north-west end of the plateau. Here along with a beautiful temple, there are rock-cut caves which are definitely worth a visit. Climb the plateau from near the temple.
Walk along the rocky edge for a few kms till you reach the "khandak" (moat). This is the fort called "Juna Panhala". Apart from the moat, few ruins and a rock cut cave temple just below the east edge, the expanse of the table land & the view of the surrounding ranges is quite a sight.
