invisible, jet blast deflector
Ending a five year ban on nighttime run-ups, the Portland GRE was designed to accommodate wide body aircraft such as the MD-11 as well as narrow body and regional jets. The facility is one of the tallest GRE's built by BDI and offers very high usability despite the challenging wind conditions of the Colombia River basin.
