Major residential and commercial district in southeastern Vancouver, built in the 1970s-2000s. Bordered by NE Mill Plain and Highway 14 to the north and south; Interstate 205 and NE 164th to the west and east. Neighbourhood subdivisions include Cascade Park, WyEast, Mountain View, Parkcrest, Fairway Village and several apartment and condominium complexes. Shopping areas include Fred Meyer (Mill Plain & Chkalov), Safeway (Mill Plain & NE 138th), Big Lots and many others. Entertainment includes Regal Cascade Stadium 16 theatre. Public schools include Crestline and Riverview (elementary), Wy East (junior high) and Mountain View (senior high.) The Vancouver Elks Lodge (BPOE #823) is located north of the I-205/Highway 14 interchange.
