Originating point of river Kolong

River Kolong was originated from this point from mighty Brahmaputra River. It has flown through a long catchment area and passed by a number of villages and towns. But due to some unknown reasons (perhaps to save Nagaon and other towns from its flood) the originating point has been filled up with earth and blocked the entry of water from Brahmaputra.
