7-story modern residential building completed in 2003 for the New School and The New York Institute of Technology. Housing 200 student residents across 1222 bedroom units, the building is clad in red brick, with a major setback above the 6th floor. The smaller 7th floor is clad in beige brick. The ground floor has storefronts along 8th Avenue, with paneled brick along West 20th Street, up to the entrances at the far west end of the facade. The upper floors have large window groupings with grey metal mullions, blue metal panels, and air conditioning vents. The ground floor is occupied by FedEx Office. The building was sold by The New School in 2024, but continues to house students.
