Formerly the Treadwell Mansion which was constructed in 1875. The house was constructed for the owners of the Tesla Coal Mine near Livermore, Ca. The structure was purchased by the California College of the Arts. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as # 1977000286 and also is a City of Oakland Landmark.
