513, 515 & 517 6th Avenue

USA / New Jersey / Hoboken / Sixth Avenue (Avenue of the Americas), 513-517

A trio of 3-story mercantile buildings completed in the mid-1800s as townhouses. They each had storefronts installed on the ground floors in the late 1800s. They are each three bays wide and clad in brick (the original orange brick has been painted over in red at Nos. 513 & 515). No. 517 retains its metal cornices over the windows, but they have been removed from the other two buildings. The roof cornices have also been removed from the two southern buildings, which now have plain brick parapets with stone copings. The ground floors are occupied by Buddha Nails & Spa II, Xcellent DVD adult store, and Rolling Bagel coffee cafe.
