 office building, school

4-story Neo-Gothic building completed in 1932. Designed by Alfred Morton Githens for the General Theological Seminary, it serves as a social center for students, professors and alumni. Rooms on the upper floor have served at various times as student rooms, offices and rooms for tutors, and in the 1970‟s as home to a student commune. It has also housed the refectory and library at times of transition.

Unlike most of the seminary's other buildings, which were designed by Charles Coolidge Haight, Seabury Hall's red brick cladding extends all the way down the the sidewalk. The center of the facade on the north side has three large round-arched windows, with three square dormers above. To the right is a sharply-angled triangular gable, and to the left is a smaller one.
