3-story Greek-revival/Italianate residential building completed in 1851 as a townhouse for G. Sherman. It is clad in brick (now painted blue, along with the neighboring building to the east) above a white stone basement. It has a high stoop, white stone window sills and lintels, and a modillioned roof cornice.
