Buried in the underbrush is the entrance to Masonic Cave, one of a number of caves on this private property. Masons were know to have held 5 meetings in the cave in the 1850s.

Parking and access to the caves are free. From the parking lot, follow the sign pointing to the main cave (past two slightly smaller caves). The cave is unlit, and there are no handrails or any safety features - be careful when entering the cave. The cave itself seems not to extend back more than 30 feet into the hillside. From its limited size, one might surmise that attendance at these first Masonic meetings was probably sparse.

An historical marker is at the cave entrance. Huell Howser did an episode here, where he interviewed the elderly couple who own the land.
