It is part of the third altar to the left of the church of San Domenico.
The altar has an ornate wooden and coats of arms of the Della Rovere is located in a niche and a twentieth-century statue, depicting the Madonna del Rosario, placed there as a replacement for a much older.
All around the central niche are the Mysteries of the Rosary, consisting of a series of 15 small oils on canvas boxes with golden wooden frames and restored in 1996; these oils works are not very refined, almost sketches, performed by artists including more you recognize the oval place in the tympanum depicting the Coronation of the Virgin, the hand of Cialdieri.
It is due to the erection of the altar of the Rosary Society in the year 1564.
