Cerreto is located along the valley of the river Jordan, on the side of the south-west of Monte Nerone at about 650 m altitude. And 'crossed by the road which, starting from the bottom rises to the summit areas (La Montagnola). The core topmost place is called the Castle, with old stone houses and the chapel of Our Lady of Loreto.
