art museum / art gallery, 1936_construction
1-story (with 2-story section) Art-Deco gallery building completed in 1936 as a loading station. Designed by G.W. Stiller, the facade is now painted grey, and the former garage bay door have been replaced with aluminum and opaque glass panels. A series of cylindrical tubes along the top of the panels conceal metal roll-down security shutters. The building was remodeled by A-1 Mabetex in 2012, and is now occupied by a spacious art gallery run by Friedrich Petzel.
