At this place, British Troops of the Long Range Desert Group LRDG set marks for a landing strip and as a sign to Eight Bells, made our of the typicl tin jerrycans teh British Armed Forces used at that time. Unfortunately, already a lot of the cans were taken away, most probably as a souvenir.
