Ships' Graveyard : Chernobyl Disaster Vessels (Chornobyl)

After the Chernobyl disaster cleanup, these ships were too contaminated by radioactive debris to be used ---and so they were abandoned on-site. Some were used to transport the special crisis-response personnel, the "liquidators", many of whom later died from radiation poisoning received during their service.
