Formerly the St. Vincent's Materials Handling Center, a 1-story facility completed in 1987 to serve St. Vincent's Hospital. It replaced the former Loew's Sheridan movie theater building, the largest and most important in Greenwich Village and one whose marbled 1921 interior was immortalized in a famous painting by Edward Hopper.
The New York City AIDS Memorial was dedicated on this site in 2016.
