Former site of the NYU Coles Sports & Recreation Center, designed in 1981 by Wank Adams Slavin Associates which was an offshoot of the firm of Reed & Stem, which featured a rooftop track, rock climbing wall, and 3 floors of other athletic facilities.

It was demolished in 2017 to be replaced by a 23-story mixed-use academic building designed by Davis Brody Bond and KieranTimberlake which should be completed by 2021. The interior was designed by Spacesmith. In 2022, it was named by John A. Paulson, billionaire hedge fund investor.
