6-story residential building completed in 1883. Designed by F.W. Klemt as a 3-story store-and-loft building. It gained an additional three floors in the late 1880s by H. Bruns, who incorporated his initials as decorative elements that can still be seen on the second story and on the fire escape. It was a lodging house in the 1880s and continues to lodge men today, as it is home to the Bowery Residents’ Committee. The 2-story base and storefront is faced in green-painted cast iron. The upper floors are clad in red brick, and capped by a green-painted roof parapet.

It is now used for the Bowery Safe Haven of the Bowery Residents' Committee, and houses a location of the NYU Langone Family Health Centers.
