This was originally built as an extension of Titche-Goettinger in 1955 and is considered to be part of the building, despite the fact that unlike the original 1929 building, it is windowless. Upon the closure of the department store (renamed Joske's in 1979 before closing in 1987), the building became the Dallas Education Center, later known as the Universities Center at Dallas.

It houses classrooms and other space for several major universities.
