Saltora is a town and a community development block in Sadar subdivision of Bankura district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Government of West Bengal has planned a Special Economic Zone in Saltora.
There is an old temple at the foot of Biharinath hill. With the discovery of Paleolithic tools in the Biharinath area, the hill and the surrounding areas have come into focus of archaeologists.
