Chakardharpur is a Nagar Parishad city in district of Pashchimi Singhbhum, Jharkhand.
The Chakardharpur Nagar Parishad has population of 56,531 as per report released by Census India 2011.
Chakradharpur is a subdivision in Pashchimi Singhbhum district in the state
of Jharkhand, India. It is located at the plateau of Chhota Nagpur. It is
small but beautiful town. Surrounded with small hills reflecting a picturesque
view to eye.
Entire Chakradharpur can be divided into three sections.
1. Panchayt: ASANTALIYA, KERA, NISCHINTPUR, JAIPUR, JHARJHARA, DUKARI, HESSELKUTTI, ROLADIH, UNCHIBITA, GOPINATHPUR, HATHIYA, MAHULPANI, CHAINPUR, SAMRAIDIH, JAMID,
GURASAI, KULITORANG and OTADIRI
2. Municipality: It is divided into 25 wards.

  • My daughter Corina found this site, I was born in CKP and my father & Mothers names are Len & Grace Gallagher. I have to brothers Russell and Simon. Some of the best days was spent growing up in CKP. We had the best Christmas festivities and dances out of all the railway stations. I have been in Australia for 39 years but CKP will always hold fond memories as we still think of it as home.
  • The place where I born and played.It's been long time i left CKP but still every corner all the roads look bright and clear till today.the best memories of lie possibly. CKP, famous as the head quarter of the SE Railway, is place to find different cultures and languages. Say a language say sect in India you find in CKP. From Hindi to Bengali,Bhojpuri to Oriya,South Indian languages to Western Indian languages.. almost all of them. This mix of people from various background makes it a perfect place to celebrate each and every festival - Saraswati puja....Ram navami.... Durga puja... Diwali.. ID.. Christmas and many others. The festival season never ends here. Love my days in CKP and IN my school there -S.E.Rly, MHS(Eng.Med.),CKP--- Miss IT!!
  • One of my good friend Haridwar Singh hails from this place. Mr Vishavkarma was another very good friend. We were classmates at Tata College Chaibasa in BSc I& II 1968 They were my hostel mates as well.
