Chandkapur is a town in the tehsil / Taluka of Savner / Saoner, in the Nagpur district of Maharashtra . As per provisional census of 2011 town Chandkapur of Tehsil / Taluka Savner / Saoner in the Nagpur district has 1872 households and Total Population of 9485 , Of this , male population is 5067 and female Population is 4418 . Population figures for Chandkapur taken from 2011 Indian Census documents . Chandkapur village has not been allotted an independent Postal PIN code number.
Important Note :-
As per all India Census Documents 2011 , Chandikapur has been identified as an independent village . It has not been Merged , not included in any Urban Agglomerate ( UA ). It is also not shown as Urban Out growth ( OG ),However with industrialisition , rapid growth in population and mushrooming of large settlements the village boundaries have merged , intermingled with these new settlements . Drawing of accurate polygon for village boundary , has therefore become almost impossible and has to be based on older boundary. Some of the new settlements are therefore without name.
