The Trenton Transit Center is located along Amtrak's Northeast Corridor and is used by Amtrak, NJ Transit and SEPTA.

On the weekend of July 9th, 2016, the station's lower level SEPTA platforms were extended by pavement to accommodate longer trains. This was due to SEPTA's Silverliner V cars being pulled from service due to a wide-spread issue with their trucks.
