Opened in 1989, this hotel was formerly known as the Regent Hotel before changing its name to Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur in 2007 after the Regent Hotel's 15 year contract of tenure comes to an end. The hotel is now (as of 2010) managed by Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc. (www.millenniumhotels.com/), a leading British-based hotel business headquartered in London.

The hotel has 469 guestrooms in total, including 30 suites. Despite its five-star looks, it doesn't give off any of that intimidating air often associated with five-star hotels. Perhaps, the first thing anyone would’ve noticed about this hotel is how convenient the location is. Situated along Jalan Bukit Bintang, right opposite Bintang Walk, the hotel enjoys a prime location of being right in the middle of all the action.

  • Is this Millennium hotel now?...what i know is,this is a four season hotel or regent hotel in 1996 and i am a staff too. Very good 5 star hotel and has improved me by now...Great memory like no other 5 star hotel...
