1-story gallery originally completed as a 5-story building in 1890. It was radically altered, and reduced to a 1-story parking garage in 1964, faced with grey brick. In 2013, it was converted to an art gallery called the Swiss Institute. Open to the public free of charge, it provides a significant forum for contemporary cultural dialogue between Switzerland, Europe, and the United States. Swiss Institute produces four exhibitions per year along with a series of public programs including lectures, performances, and screenings.
