Formerly a 2-story commercial building with a black facade, completed in 1936 as a warehouse. All of the tenants moved out in 2014, as plans were drawn up to replace the building.
A design was chosen for a new 6-story structure designed by BKSK Architects. The design calls for a beige transforming terra-cotta facade—from left to right on Spring Street, each masonry opening becomes two inches wider until the final bay, at Spring and Broadway is vision glass. It is occupied entirely by Nike's SoHo flagship store.
