Palouse Wind is a wind farm located about 32-37 miles (50-60 km) south of Spokane, Washington, between Highway 195 and the town of Oakesdale to the east. Commissioned in 2012, it consists of 58 Vestas V100/1800 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 104.4 MW. Developed by First Wind with power being sold to Avista.
