Goat Island

Supposedly named so because the owner of the property prior to the lake raised goats here, Goat Island is an excellent destination for swimming, skiing, and relaxation. It has a few areas of nice sandy beaches where you can pull up you boat and swim. Just to the west is Waldrop's Restauraunt & Store and the Weldon Island boat ramp.
