New Town Hall (Dinkelsbühl)

Built in 1733 as a private dwelling for the postillion, senator and later mayor Bauer. Used by the municipal administration since 1855. Banner with quotation from the town’s “Richtungsbrief” (1387) which incorporated the guilds in the town regiment. On his journey to Nuremberg, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe dined at the ”Drei Mohren” opposite.
