Town mill built after Emperor Karl IV had granted Dinkelsbühl a privilege to run two mills (1378). The municipal mill (14th century) that is built like a fortification, with a moat, a parapet and crenels, is reminiscent of a moated castle. Now houses the Third Dimension Museum.
