The building is a historic campus house, has mostly (emphasis on "mostly"--recently served headquarters for local restaurant group for a few years) served as restaurants. In fall 2013, it reopened as the Blackwater Drew Brewing Company, which served food and made its own beer on the premises. After Blackwater Draw Brewing Company opened a "full" microbrewery in downtown Bryan (not a restaurant) this has often been referred to "Blackwater Draw Brewing Company--Northgate Brewpub", at least according to Google, and following rising rents in the area, BWD closed the Northgate brewpub in early May 2018, with the current restaurant moving in in fall of that year. The current pictures are BEFORE it remodeled and soon after DC, Inc. (Dixie Chicken's parent company) moved out.
