  My house is situated in this place called 100 acre.Housename:Peringasseril. It is surprised in Thodupuzha taluk there is a Village named as peringassery. 100 acre is blessed by nature.River Pooyamkutty and River Edamalayar in their journey meet together at the begining point of 100acre.Then she receive the name kuttampuzha river.Other side is blessed with forest area.Throughout the year we get pure water,air and a keen atmosphere.The other important thing is that this place is included in Thattekkad bird sanctury.As this is a protected area even birds and animals are so safe.But the human beings of this location is very pityful.By GRACE OF GOD there is a prayer meeting in every 4th sundays afternoon lead by Christian Rivival fellowship kolenchery.I praise the Lord for the meeting because it caused for the repentance of my family and myself.Moreover a number of families getting peace with God by attending this prayer meeting It was started in 1992 and by the great Mercy of God it continues.Our most impression and decission is that the deed of God in my home shall for ever. In Psalms 116 David says "I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. He hath inclined his ear unto me, therfore will I call upon him as long as I live." we also says the same words. Christian revival felloship is an interdenominational fellowship.Members of the epicospel church get together in every 2nd saturdays, second sundasys.and third sundays at the prayer hall attached to Prof.M.Y.Yohannan sir's house.{for more about the CRF read Website:www.crfgospel.org}. 100 acre is located in kuttampuzha Panchayat/Village,Kothamangalam taluk,Ernakulam dist.For long time this Panchayat was attached to Devikulam taluk,Idukki Dist.Before built of Thattekkad bridge this place was like an Island. One side Periyar river and other side pooyamkutty river. Our home town is kothamangalam.For years we have no educational facilities.An high school is there at keerampara and college is at kothamangalam which is about 20 and 25 km.from Pooyamkutty.There was only one bus running from Kothamangalam upto kuttampuzha I remember in my younger age.It take atleast 2.5 hours to run 15 km.There was a ferry at thattekkad.the bus and passengrs will take up to the otherside by a boat, not boat but "Changadam" sailing by four men.During those days the people of this village was more Goddependers.Nobody can reach this village through the river without calling their Gods.A surprising thing is that no wreck or any accidents hurt even a singel humen being of this area until the bridge was built.But we poor people exclaiming in the boat accident had three years back which caused for a deep sorrow to a village.It was happened in a small distance from Thattekkad.we could not remember that incidence because 18 upperprimary students were died. Eventhough many tourists come this place to see the natural beauty of this place which is a gift of God.Can we retain the naturality of this place without any harm? We can look upon God for all protection.

  The best way to protect is to discourage tourism....our rivers will be clean..air will be pure..will protect nature indirectly..it will be an asset for the generations to come..otherwise next generation may blame us for not doing our duty..it is a dream for me to be back there shortly to look after my inheritance..
