Opened in 1960, the 7th Precinct replaced several smaller stations including the 3rd Precinct on Chene Street. The station closed in the 2000s when a further reorganization of the department consolidated the 6th and 7th Precincts as the Northeastern Division at 5100 East Nevada Street.
