This luxury four-star hotel being built here is almost on the exact same site as a small cricket pitch was built here at the old University Apartments but didn't last long before the entire complex was torn down. The hotel opened in late August 2017 though not all rooms had been finished out yet when it was built. The hotel features a restaurant (separate building) called "Poppy" with the 1791 Whiskey Bar near it.
