The estate was first mentioned in 1470 and it has belonged to the Vietinghoffs, von Benckendorffs and von Lilienfelds. The two-storey main building was erected in the Early-Classical style in about 1790, but was rebuilt in the eclectic spirit both in the 1880s and in 1905, during the of which a fire occurred. In the 20th century, the building housed an agricultural school for a long time. It is currently in private possession. By the historical distribution the manor was in Rapla Parish in Harjumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Kehtna Municipality in Raplamaa County.
