The manor, first mentioned in 1412, was developed during the time of the von Tiesenhausens at the beginning of the 19th century. The magnificent long Classical main building was burnt down in 1905 and its ruins demolished. Two beautiful manor (dwelling) houses with dome roofs have been preserved to our day. By the historical distribution the manor was in Rapla Parish in Harjumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Rapla Municipality in Raplamaa County.
