Unalaska is a city located on Unalaska and Amaknak Islands in the Alaskan Aleutian Islands. Dutch Harbor on Amaknak Island is within the city limits of Unalaska.
The population was 4,376 as of the 2011 census.
Most of Unalaska is included in the National Register of Historic Places listing known as "Dutch Harbor Naval Operating Base and Fort Mears, U.S. Army". These two military installations were created in response to the threat of Japanese invasion during World War II.
