4-story residential building completed in 1883. Designed by John and David Jardine for Mrs. Cordella Stewart. It has white-painted cast-iron pilasters on the ground floor with blue metal infill and a corrugated metal canopy suspended over the ground level. The upper floors are clad in red brick, with six bays of tall windows with molded brick segmental-arches, creating a gentle rhythm across the facade. A cornice, resting on long brick corbels set between the windows, adds further enrichment to the building. Painted signbands between the 2nd & 3rd, and the 3rd & 4th floors advertise Joseph C. LaRocca & Sons Shellfish & Seafood, a long-time former occupant of the building.
