4-story warehouse building originally completed in 1825 with dormer windows on its high pitched roof. In 1870 the building was raised to five stories, but after a fire in 1950 this fifth story was removed. The brick outline of the former window openings of the 5th floor are visible at the roof parapet. The brick facade is painted red above a ground floor covered by metal roll-down gates and capped by a cast-iron lintel.

In the early 1900s, this building along with those on either side were bought by M. Slavin & Sons fish merchants. It has been vacant since the fish market moved to the Bronx in 2005.
