The side elevations are also grey-painted concrete paneling, with a pattern of small, thin, horizontal projections following the curve of the facade. The site was previously occupied by a 2-story carriage house from 1879 that later housed a popular music store, the Joseph Patelson Music House. The hotel contains 67 guest rooms.
