5-story mercantile building completed in 1870. A 2.5-story, projecting commercial storefront was installed in 1923, and later altered. It is now clad in rough-faced, cobbled stone framing black metal and glass with red trim. The 2nd floor has a large band of five windows above paneling, with signboards above and below, and a projecting, vertical sign at the west end. The projecting, rock-faced extension continues halfway up in front of the 3rd-floor windows, with a crenelated top and a large, projecting barrel-shaped grey-stone turret at the center, flanked by projecting flagpoles. Another neon sign rises from the castle-like turret.

The upper floors, set back behind the storefront, are faced in white smooth-stucco with two bays of windows. They have full stone surrounds with bracketed sills and small red awnings over the cornices. The facade is crowned by a white metal roof cornice with console brackets, modillions, and panels.

The building was previously occupied by The Old Castle Pub and Restaurant, and then briefly by Copper Johns Pub & Kitchen.
