Khuntakata High School, Athagarh is a Govt. High school and was established in the year 1966 to provide education on High School level. It has been under the control of District Education Office Cuttack. Late Freedom Fighter Lokanath Mishra of Khuntakata is the found of the institution. This Institution extends teaching facility in Humanities, Social Science, Physical Science etc. There are many Societies and association related to social service and cultural programme like scout, Jr. Red Cross, Eco Club & Red Ribbon Club.
